AutoDOC
AutoDOC is a drawing and document management
system. The first release was in 1986 and the system has been
updated continuously since then.
Functions for security, drawing retrieval,
revision handling and viewing are all fully integrated in the product.
The base system includes functions for
generation of drawing numbers, number series, checking,
approving and revising drawings and documents. The revision
control system ensures that you have only one original, although
it's possible to get a temporary copy if a drawing is being
revised. Old revisions handled by the system at approval time.
Signatures and user groups are built in.
Drawing management information can be entered in
AutoDOC or through the title block in AutoCAD® or Autodesk
Inventor®, from which you have a direct link to the database.
AutoDOC can create and handle DWF files which
allows non-CAD-users to view and use drawing files in a
controlled way.
Optional modules are available for BOM (Bill Of
Material), link to revision blocks, etc.
AutoDOC is delivered with an open database.
Headlines and fields can be changed and added.
AutoDOC is available in English and Swedish.
Benefits
Built-in handling of documents, AutoDOC knows
where all documents are stored and ensures that the right
version is used.
AutoDOC does this without interfering with the way the user
works.
